Our Mission

Paripurnata envisages championing the cause of the marginalized mentally ill women, and strive for their mainstreaming in society in order to restore their rights and dignity.

Paripurnata is a leading non-governmental organisation promoting and providing psychosocial and mental health care services to marginalized mentally ill women.

What We Do

We at Paripurnata are working towards expansion of rehabilitation options, the development of a family support structure and the implementation of awareness campaigns.

Lally's Story: Uttar Pradesh

When Kishenlal saw her sister Lally (name changed) after a gap of six years, he could hardly believe his eyes. Tears were streaming down Lally's eyes after seeing her elder brother after so many years.

Mira Ben: Gujrat

It is difficult to fathom how she landed up in Kolkata. But it is a fact that she was found loitering on the roads at Andul and admitted to Calcutta Pavlov Hospital on 19th May 2010.

Shalini D’Rozario: Kolkata

As the days progressed Shalini became physically fit; mentally stable and regained a balanced mental status
